Established in 2000, Jr. Bucks has been a cornerstone of our community, providing young athletes with the opportunity to grow both on and off the field.
Our mission is to instill the values of teamwork, discipline, and respect while ensuring a safe and positive experience for all players and cheerleaders.

These practices are perfect for kids at any skill level, whether they have registered for Junior Buckhorns 2026 Football Season or just want to come learn more about the sport, the team and our program.

Megaphone fundraisers help cover: turtleneck, bloomers, socks, bow, warm-up suits.
Parents are responsible for cheer shoes and uncovered items.
No experience necessary!
We start by focusing on basic motions, jumps, tumbling, and stunting. Conditioning, flexibility, and strength training are key components of every practice.
Our football program is designed for players of all skill levels. With divisions based on age and experience, we provide a competitive and educational experience where athletes can develop their skills in a fun, structured environment.
Players must be within the age requirement on May 1st.

Our cheerleaders bring spirit and energy to every game! From sideline cheers to halftime performances and competitions, our program teaches cheerleading fundamentals while fostering confidence, teamwork, and athleticism. The Wallenpaupack Junior Buckhorn Cheer program is dedicated to assisting cheerleaders develop fundamental cheerleading skills, promoting teamwork, encouraging participation in sideline and competitive cheer, and supporting active lifestyles and fun!
Cheer Grades K–8
Cheerleaders must be entering the grade as of August 1st.
*B and A squad will only combine during sideline football games and will separate to perform at competitions.

Young athletes can play an active role in sustaining their sports programs by engaging in donation-based fundraising efforts, creating meaningful connections with potential donors through sharing their personal sports stories, goals and fostering an appreciation for community support that extends beyond the playing field.
